Zamia Investments is the combination of the name of our two children, Zachari and Mia. What we do, we do it for them, and for the whole generation of children who will have to live with our Planet Earth and the resources that we will bequeath to them.

Véronique Gaumond-Carignan

Head Agro-food Activities

Véronique is recognized as a leader who only stops when the set objectives are reached and beyond. She practiced as a partner within a large pan-Canadian law firm. As a devoted lawyer, she developped her skills in business and management. She has notably advised pension funds, public companies, real estate developers and large-scale real estate managers about private equity, financing, and their real estate transactions.

In addition to her professional careers, Véronique has contributed to the cultural scene in Montreal as well as the Canadian contemporary art and is involved in numerous charitable causes where she is recognised for her communication skill and leadership which rally people and successfully raise awareness and funds to the causes.

Having the human and earth sustainability at heart, Véronique joined Zamia Investments to lead the Agri-food sector and contribute to the Canadian Agri-food industry. She strongly supports local procurement policies and low environmental impact solutions. Her motivation: Making an impact. Her passions - human relations, achieving results and sustainable food.

Mohamed Diouri

Head Real-Estate Activities

Innovative and very creative, Mohamed searches how to optimize and find a principle for each process that crosses his path. With a background in industrial engineering, and a specialty in lean engineering, Mohamed constantly seeks to combine the best production processes to reduce most non-value-added actions.

With several years within a great North American technology reseller, he not only learned to provide the best-in-class customer services but also to realise successful transformations to some of the major world-renowned manufacturing companies.

Entrepreneurs for several years, he started his first business venture in the online gaming industry (MMORPG) and has developed in the last few years the real estate component of Zamia Investments. Within each project, it is through innovation and creativity that he contributes to its success.

His passions - family, architecture, mechanical design, farming, optimizing and cars. What is important for him - Improve the making of a product or a process to become better and more accessible.
